| Why train? |
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that all employers determine if the fire safety measures in and around the workplace are adequate. This will require a fire risk assessment to be performed, and such an assessment must consider staff training in Fire Safety. |

In order to minimise the risk of fire in the workplace, and provide the employees with the knowledge of what action to take in the event of a fire, all employees must receive some form of fire safety training. |
